May 5, 2010 – Solutions Middle East hosted an event at the Sheraton Hotel, Abu Dhabi. The company has a large product portfolio but however the event mainly focused on presenting its flagship products – Citrix, RightFax, EasiSMS and Cortado. The program agenda was launched with a brief welcome note followed by detailed presentations of the mentioned products.

The first product session was regarding Open Text Fax Server – RightFax, presented by Mathew Thomas from Solutions Middle East and Fadi Honein from Open Text. The presentation was incorporated of an Introduction to Open Text and its new products and business applications of fax servers.

This was followed by Citrix Virtualization Track, presented by Yannik Kunegal from Citrix. The presentation gave a detailed elucidation on XenDesktop 4 – The Future of Desktop Computing.

The third product session on EasiSMS – Enterprise SMS Solution was presented by Charles Goh from InspireTech. This presentation gave enlightenment on the messaging platform, EasiWorkgroup and EasiEscalate 2006.

The final product session was in relation to Cortado – “Blackberry Enterprise Access Solution”, which transforms mobile devices into mobile desktop. This was presented by Andre Richman from ThinPrint. The presentation spotlight was on Introduction to the Virtual Desktop Processes, its features and how it integrates into the existing infrastructure.

The event was very exultant and received a good audience from various major companies of the region. These included Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Zones Corp, Emirates Holdings, Prestige Jet and many more.

On the whole the result was overwhelming and acknowledged first-rate feedback. With the success of this event, we look forward to organize such events in the future.
